I recognise that UAI estimating is a bit of an inexact science, but anyone care to hazard a guess on what sort of UAI I'm looking at?
Haven't got assessment marks yet, so I'll give my trial marks, and make a guess at where I'm ranked in the grade overall, given my most recent marks and the lists that were published a couple of months ago.
English Advanced: 82%, maybe 10th
2U Maths: 92%, 2nd or 3rd
Maths Ext 1: 47%, God knows what when compared to the 4U people but maybe 3rd or 4th just with the 3U people
Chemistry: 81%, maybe 8th
Modern History: 90%, 1st or 2nd
Ancient History: 89%, 1st or 2nd
History Extension: 90%, equal 1st
Last year my school was ranked about 80th by the Telegraph, although our director of studies thinks that the current Y12 will do better than last year's. Our 2004 rank was 65th and 2003 was 94th.
EDIT: I'm hoping to get those sorts of marks in the HSC exams, hopefully better in Chem and Maths Ext.
