hi all~
I juss joined 2dai so yea hello^^..lol
Im in y10 atm and i noe it mite be a bit early askin these kinds of questions but i was juss wonderin roughly wat UAI mark i would get if i did these subjects in y11&12 and i scored 85 or up out of 100:
*English Adv.
*Maths Exension1
*Business studies
*Biology
*Society&Culture
*Geography

If you used SAM and subbed in 85 for each of your subjects, and 43 for extension maths, since it only counts as 1 unit, it comes out to 89.65, if you are using 2004 results. But remember, this is only a rough estimate of your UAI, scaling changes every year.

yeh, there's no use trying to predict ur UAI based on any results or any subjects, because the level of difficulty of courses cahnge, the level of competition changes, and hence, the scaling system employed by UAC changes every single year

this makes it impossible to predict a UAI

so, there's no point in asking such a question really

True, scaling changes from year to year but the changes are not dramatic (they tend to be similar). Anyway, don't go by scaling, go by strength. Maybe for one subject go by scaling (like i did for economics).

Just do the subjects you like, then do really well in it. Scaling won't affect you then.
