Hi everybody,

Can someone please estimate on these array of marks, for possible UAI. Thanks!.

Person A

Eng Standard - Mark: 80%, Rank: 11/117
2 Unit Maths - Mark: 50%, Rank: 29/50
2 Unit Physics - Mark: 75%, Rank: 9/36
2 Unit Business Studies - Mark 66%, Rank: 14/59
Information Tech - Mark: 90%, Rank: 1/22

[ Note ]: These marks were from my TRIALS - The Final marks werent given out, or because everyone WAG'd the last day of school.

[ Edit ]: goto some prolly unknown school in NSW ('Kingsgrove High School') - One or two students achieved 90's in the school...

But your maths is not up to scratch. and you only have 10 units. so EVERY unit COUNTS.

I agree, your maths and business studies marks are pulling your down... Business studies doesnt scale too well, so you have to get higher marks so that its scaling is not too low. If you do well in your HSC examination, there is no boubt that you can get in the 80s cos your ranks are ok (besides maths). So I suggest concentrating on maths, cos that will hurt you if you do shit

I heard 2 unit maths scales abit

Does business scale down badly ? Or do i need to full hammer it in the H.S.C ?

I would not worry about the scaling now, that's should be in the past. You can't control it, you can't change it.

Yes, I would suggest you to get in the top 10% in Business Studies.
