uai translation for New Zealand uni's??? (1 Viewer)

i'm considering 2 NZ unis but I don't know how it all works and my career's advisor at school is pretty much impossible to reach =(
so does anyone know what the points are like? as in, how do they translate from UAI to NZ point-format?
oh and do they have hex-fees etc over there too for aussie kids/ students in general?
