Hey anyone who has the time, give me your thoughts on where im headed UAI-wise, i honestly have no idea and everyone ive asked is really biased so not getting a clear indication lol. I need about 85 for my course.

My school is top 30 ranked if thats any help

wow ok are you two for real? i'd be so happy with that. Also, does the schools ranking play a major role, i honestly didnt hear much about it before i looked at this forum...

The school's ranking just gives an indication of how well your cohort does in the HSC, it doesn't really influence your HSC marks or UAI.

nar just kidding, you should do well.

Oh and the school matters - as they moderate your internal assessment marks to make sure that the internals are comparable to another school's internal marks. This means that if your school does really really baddly in the externals and your ranked in the middle with a mark of say 85 - the internal average is like an 80 and you get an 85 in the external but your schools average is like an 20 then the markers might want to take another look at your internal assessment marks- they might be moderated to a lower mark depending on your rank / other stuff.
