i just had a thought - the UAI ranks you against your year 10 cohort... i'm repeating, so when i get my UAI this year, will it be ranking me against my year 10 cohort (year 10 class of 1999) or against the year 10 cohort of this years hsc (year 10 class of 2001 i believe)?

and, if the case is that it ranks me against my year 10 cohort (1999), would that effect my use of the UAIseeker in any way/shape/form?

:)

I think you get ranked against the cohort that you get your UAI.
So if you get your UAI this year, you'll be ranked against the yr10 (2001) cohort.

That's correct. it would not make sense if you sit your HSC exams this year, and use the marks to compare with the candidates from last year.

Yr 10 (2001) would be correct.

It wouldn't affect your use of the UAISeeker, except that you could potentially work out which marks you might end up keeping from your first time around.
