Has anyone been getting back their marks for UNI yet for any assessments?
How have you been going? And do you reckon it is it easier or harder than doing well at school?

So far I've gotton 2 distinctions and a credit...I'm keeping up with the workload at the moment, but I think I will be struggling to pass some of my end of semester exams cos I won't have long to prepare for each one. I am so used to high school, having only 5 subjects!

Normal Communication & Devlopment
Health Sociology
Speech Science
Phonetics
Psychology
Neuroscience
Grammar
Linguistics
Human Biology and Biochemistry

I have only gotton marks back for the frist 3...we do transcription exams worth 2% every week for Phonetics too and I've gotton all the marks back for them as well, but that doesn't really count.

27 hours a week

Some of those subjects aren't very big, like Grammar-that is only an hour per week.

comp115 - 100% in 8% of assessments

accg100 - 100% in 5% of assessments

actst151 - distinction average in about 20% assessments
(wont say mark coz it juz doesnt fit in wiv the rest )

stat171 - 90% in 8% of assessments


update:
accg100 - 92% in 30% of assessments
comp115 - 100% in 30% of assessments
actst151 - 81% in 25% of assessments
stat171 - 93% in 12% of assessments

One distinction, one credit, one pass

Considering the nature of the assignments I've recently handed in though, I think the pass list is gonna be getting a hell of a lot longer...
I should start working, hey?

i do four subjects, 13hrs a week muahahha

so far i have done pretty good i think, 2 distinctions and a high distinction, but lots of things commin up so i dont think il b able to maintain this

i do four subjects, eleven hours a week. but i usually only go for nine.

so far my assessments have been quite shit

professional writing, i've had two fails and a pass. i was so cut, never failed before.
introduction to communication studies, i've had a credit and a distinction
media culture and society i've had a HD(100% baby!)
intro to politics i havent had any assessments yet

hey for my professional writing assessments, the three that i did were all 10% ones, marked out of 10. i failed two of them, but if you add up all the marks to a combined 30 im actually passing. so do they look at it this way, or just treat it like im failing cos ive had more fails then passes?

I think they'd just add them all up, so it'd be considered a pass overall.
Unless it was one that you HAD to pass or less you automatically fail the whole course, even if it is only worth a small amount overall (we've had a few of them...). But if they were like that, I'm sure you'd know about it...

okay

law: only gotten one assignment mark back...was 1/2 mark off a distinction (was so pissed that I was so close).

maths: distinction average (started off on hd, slowly heaps heaps worse in the exams)

my other subjects they still haven't handed our stuff back yet.

However, it wont be looking to good, Ive been partying way too much.

but hey if I do really shit, Ill just remember my ecos teachers words: "anything more than a pass at uni and your doing too much work..."

oi btw i had a reserch and anlaysis assignment due on 17/4 i had it done and was about to leave to hand it in my lil bro barkes his arm so i spend 4 hrz with him just enough for the teachers to finish the last lecture coz it was Good Friday the next day so we had a two week break and i gave the assignemt in first day i got back the subject-head hasbt said shit u reckonn ill get zero or it will be marked with marks deducted

Hmmm I got 100% for our first computer science assignment... but I haven't got any others back yet. Two more comp sci assignments and a law test are pending.
