Hi,
I just got my uni results out ... I am EXTREMELY happy 8 hours solid library study every day now seems worth it!!!
Subject No. Subject Name Result
20 Microeconomics 1 HD
3539 Business Statistics 1 HD
4824 Accounting & Finance 1a HD


Only question is that I didn't get any marks - is this normal?

BTW I go to University of Canberra, ACT.

i hope my marks will be half as good as that

i know at Macquarie Uni we get that F/P/C/D/HD thing as well as marks, but i dunno about Canberra

well I know at UNSW, they give u a final mark, your grade, and your GPA

MinAi - at UNSW we get marks, grades and WAM (weighted average mean) which is NOT the same as GPA.

GPA is weighted average of your grades (F, P, C, D, HD), whereas WAM is weighted average of your marks. So getting a mark of 66 as opposed to 74 will affect your WAM, but wouldn't affect your GPA (since they're both credit).


As for the grades/marks thing at canberra - I think they only supply you with grades. Check their policies on this (you'd probably have a better idea of where to go than I would).


Oh, and I don't think 8 hours of study a day was worth it
(Going to UNSW I may not have any idea of how hard your exams are though, so if it works for you, ignore me.)

Yeah I just realised that wen I checked NSS, its WAM not GPA
