My teacher recommended that I go to some of the HSC lectures held by the universities. Has anyone been to any of these? Are they worthwhile attending?

i went to the chemistry lecture at the university of sydney, it was really good. However i spoke to a guy there and he said that the maths lecture he went to wasn't real good at all. Not to say other maths lectures wouldn't be though

I think that a lecture on maths couln't really help unless it was on exam hints or common mistakes or something like that.
