What are the dates on a yearly basis does university go for?

Like, is it February to November? or something else.

it actually doesn't bother me when it begins. But i'll hopefully be a first year uni student next year, but i won't be around from about November the 23rd. And im hoping i won't miss anything.

as a rough guide, from late-February to the mid-November. when it ends really depends on your exam timetable.

I have newcastle's handy, http://www.newcastle.edu.au/dates/semester/2007.html but I'm sure all unis have something similar

you also get a 4 week break around june between semesters.

check on the uni wbsite.. they should have semester dates for next year up by now.....
