hi, i'm new to this forum...

currently i'm 2nd year actuarial/econ at macq and i'm %@#$%@#$ sick of it...

next year i was thinking of transfering to unsw to do comm/arts...prolly majoring in accounting/econ

there are alot of subjects available for each of these majors and i was wondering if there are ne recommended programs available (couldn't find these)?

also how do i go about seeking credit transfer?

well i've done almost exactly what your planning to do
Seeking credit is not too hard-just a pain getting your offical transcript and handing it in person with the application for credit form.

To major in accounting and econ, under a B comm,

(click, "double major" if both majors taken under b comm, or "single" if taken as a double degree)

However, if you plan to do comm.arts, i believe you can only choose 1 major of each degree.

Also, if you did accg105 at macq(assuming so, coz acst'ers do), be prepared to do acct 1a and 1b ...*i think*.

Halo, this is eskimo joce again....i need some answers to these questions so i was wondering if anyone can help me.....PLZ

Well, basically now i m considering changing into a com/law or just a single commerce degree in UNSW but the thing is i email the ppl at the Student centre and she said that i can't transfer because i m in my 2nd year so i will be "unable to transfer as you must complete 50% of your degree here at UNSW." Is that true??

But the thing is since i did actuarial studies many of my subjects will not count for the commerce degree in UNSW...well i think so anyways....so i think i will have completed less than 50% of the UNSW course including the subjects i am doin' this semester...can anyone give me some advice on this? I feel very very lost n doomed at the moment...plz help me!

Hmm you should be able to transfer, but you'll have to extend your time at uni to meet the necessary credit point requirements..
