Hi guys,
I graduated in 2020 and turns out I missed out on Usyd Radiography by 0.2. The cutoff was 97.3. I have been accepted into Radiography at Newcastle but have also been accepted into Health Science at Usyd and will also be putting down Med Science for the next round.
Usyd Radiography was always a dream/goal for me so there is the possibility of transferring after first year at Usyd (Internal transfers are much more successful than external transfers). They said last year students needed a minimum GPA of 6.4 to competitively transfer into Radiography. Is this achievable at with Health/Med Sci?
Does anyone have any unbiased advice about whether I should try to transfer after one year or go straight to Newcastle? Keep in mind I also live in Sydney so there are pros and cons to both.
Thanks
