Uploading to BOS (1 Viewer)

hey i tried uploading pics (jpeg format) and it won't work...it says 'uploading, please wait' and then a few seconds later its like

"The page cannot be displayed

The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The Web site might be experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to adjust your browser settings."

How big are the pictures?

Try reducing their size, and trying again, or uploading them to somewhere like Imageshack and linking from there.

is there a limit on how big the upload files must be? cos im trying to upload stuff about 500-700KB big.

i'll try again and if that doesn't work ill try uploading to a seperate web hosting server like you said.

same thing happens for me... yeah just use image shack, make a direct link, works a charm

Limit is approx 100kb. You get an error telling you this if you've uploaded too much.

I get that as well. I'm not breaking any size limits.

Suggestion noted but overruled. This topic is in the correct place for error diagnosis and correction.

Could those having the problem please list:

* Size of the file
* Browser (with version)
* What OS/Service Pack
* Time of day you attempted uploading

i tried uploading a 'zip' file, does BOS accept WinRAR ZIP archives? 'cos it doesn't seem to upload.

btw i'm using IE v6 with WinXP.

It may have been over the size limit, or posted in a lagged out server time, which is causing different problems here and there. Try uploading a small zip file, then a larger one.

What happened when you uploaded it? Did it give an error? Time out?
