a) For price

b) One that is small, will not easily break. Preferably with an attached lid so I don't lose it.

I picked up a Sandisk Cruzer Mini 128 MB USB stick from officeworks for $20 :)

See if theyre still on special

..and geez add as on msn already :(

Thanks. That's the cheapest I have seen as well but they are also selling the 256MB Lexar (purple one) for $30 so for $10 more you get double the storage.

Yeah, but in essence, all i'm going to be transferring are essays rather than content. For that i'll use my dvds or ipod mini :)

Yeah. For me though I have a 256 and I do fill it (I transport ilectures).

It looks like price-wise they are the only 2 that are becoming widely available cheaply

Thanks - I do download at home but if I have a break at uni it is so much quicker to download them there.

Lol I am also browsing e-bay. Deal is ok provided it goes for $10 only since they charge $10 postage

my sister needs one as well (yr 9 wtf?! we didnt even know what usb drives were in yr 9 *getting old*) so i have been on a lookout.

Hehe, well ebay is the best for bargains, but you could try going to officeworks, buying bulk and then selling them off for $40 :p
