UTS or UNSW (1 Viewer)

Hey guys im in yr12 atm and i wanna do B Science and Engineering in uni.

the thing is which uni i shuld go to.. UTS and UNSW both have the same UAI cut off but i want to know which is better and which part of the unis are stronger for which part. BUt most my friends are applying for UTs so can ne1 help me..?

UNSW i think is better than UTS in terms of engineering
there was a thread somewhere stating that UNSW students have a higher rate of employment than USYD and UTS

Any engineering involves some form of physics , there's aerospace (aeronautical) at UNSW.

i thought aeronautical engineering was at USYD only
also another alternative is at the ADFA, which is in canberra that offers aeronautical engineering but now the main UNSW campus

unsw has aerospace, just that its under another engo stream in the uac book.

if you want to combine aeronautical and physics all you need to do is make engo/sc which wont be so bad.

yeh thats wat im planning to do for unsw but if i get uts i think ill do mechanics and mechatronics engineering since uts doesnt offer aeronautics..

aeronautical isnt so easy to find a job either - mech or civil is much better. if you're into earning bags of money do mining.

correct me if im wrong but the boat's left if you want to do comp, unless you are brilliant. if you want to do a comp degree i would recommend infosys.

mm i thought uts was good at computer/software engineering i think ur correct :O

i wouldnt apply at unsw

keep an open mind. i was dead set on going to usyd up until the final second before the uac applications closed.

Why not?, UNSW Eng is the highest ranked eng faculty in the world rankings from Australia

Having spoken to people from UTS, apparently the main building is very dodgy
