Value of the hero... (1 Viewer)

I'm doing a speech for ext eng about the 'value of the hero' - so far i'm using for either (video) "Rustler's Rhapsody" or"Cross of Iron" and either (written) "Henry V" or "The Crucible" (still deciding)...can anyone recommend any other texts that may be useful for this speech?

I'd recommend Buffy, I can't stand the show but its a good thing to analyse in relation to values of the hero-i.e post-modern hero based on the clasical model of the hero, the 90's pseduo feminist 'girl power' ect

I need a text on the hero too because we have to do a speech on one we have done this yr and another one of our own choosing. Ughhh i hate choosing things, i am like the most indecisive/procastinating person on the plant
