I just want to run this by a few people.
My organisation is planning on running short courses for a number of VCE subjects. The plan is to teach students the entire unit of course work with 15 hours. The plan is to run these classes prior to the beginning of school, or very early after the start of school. The aim is to teach students before they are taught at school, so that when they start school they can use school time as revision, rather than learning.
My questions are:
Would this be a worthwhile thing to do?
How much would you be willing to pay?
Over how many weeks should such classes be run?
What do you consider to be an appropriate class size not to reduce the personal interation between student and presented?
Do you know of any other organisations doing something similar to this?
We are already making plans but nothing is confirmed. So any input and feedback would be appreciated.
