Never played it before, interested in learning...

How much would I be looking at to buy a full-size violin, either 2nd hand or brand new? (It'd probably be better to buy a 2nd hand one eh?)

And does anybody have a teacher they recommend?

And any other hints and advice

yeah i always wanna learn how to plain violin, cuz i listen to a lot of Paganini. You can also achieve that violin sound with an electric guitar, you have to keep turning your volume nob during picking to achieve that echo sound.

I play/played.. but I got taught at school..
Brand new student violins probably range from in the high $100's up to $400's depending on the make, and after that prices can go up to the $1000's.

a bit boring 2 learn excatly the same thing 4 the whole yr
itz not dat graceful as u thought

i played violin while i was also learning piano and ballet..my parents r such pushers..(no drugs involved)
