hey
doing the film wag the dog for one of my supp texts.
hoping that i could get some help with the film eg techniques and other stuff lol
it would be greatly appreciated as i am really stuck.

This board's Resource Section has a few essays on "Wag the Dog", so that might be of help.

I did "WTD" too and analysed these bits: the part where Kirsten Dunst was being filmed for a promo and later when they made a fake funeral for Old Shoe.

You could talk about mise-en-scene, irony, background music and camera angles.

i was using wag the dog but not anymore. i found another text that relates more to powerplay its called "the lord of the flies" by William Golding.
The only technique i remember now of wag the dog was that the colour red symbolised power...
