My pick for best film of 2008.
Its so deliciously evocative and stirs up emotions of empathy and understanding. Loved it to bits. Brilliant must-see IMO.

Beats our In Bruges and Dark Knight.

Wasnt bad, but best movie of 2008 is over stating it.

Dark Knight easily tops it, and my opinion so will Valkyrie when it comes out

I wouldn't say Wall-E is the best movie of the year, but it was a great movie (didn't really like the ending, but I guess it's a Disney film) and certainly better than Dark Knight.

yeah, i enjoyed it, liked it more when the humans were introduced and it started being a satire of our reliance on technology, then the ending was kind of average.

average start

good middle

average ending

Saw it today! It was cute... but that was pretty much it
It felt like a storyline worth much longer was squished into the two hours...

***minor spoiler!***

The fatties were sort of disturbing! with their little feet-like hands and stubby little legs........ :(

Finally saw it, to be late to the table, after just having been ludicrously busy for the past month.

Amazing first half, and kind of went a little downhill from then, but still remained pretty good. I would say I'd be rating it as my favourite of the Pixar movies, overall (though The Incredibles was pretty awesome).

Also, no mention of Presto? I lolled, for all its Looney Toons humour.
