anyone know any places that are good for webhosting?
my friend already has a website address and now needs a place to host it ...
also does hosting involve creation of website? or does he have to make it himself and then get it hosted?

some places let you make websites , example geocities. But majority including geocities also let u upload yuor website that u made on yuor computer, using frontpage or alike.

now for good hosting places? hmm. i am not sure anymore. but what i can tell you to look for is . more then 15 mbs per account not like geocities. try to find as little ads as possible .

oh some hosts need you to have Windows-based file transfer client
application
that transfers files between a user’s local PC and
another, remote computer system connected via a modem and telephone
lines or by a local-area network. users can connect
to any remote system that has a valid Internet address and an FTP
server program, browse through directories and files, and transfer
files between the two systems. In addition, users can create, change,
and remove directories and view, execute, rename, or delete files.

This has some good suggestions for both free and paid website hosting.

Dreamweaver is a much more advanced program, perhaps if you find Frontpage doesn't do what you want then start looking at Dreamweaver.

Dreamweaver is a lot more flexible compared to Frontpage and has a lot more features, eg. Flash buttons.

By posting it under his name and not quoting it, it is automatically implied under copyright laws in this country :)

Slightly off topic now.
