Some legal issues that one should consider when developing a program include:
- Creating a program that does not meet the quality assurance given by the developer and/or the requirements of the client.
- Whether the program is experiencing user interface issues.
- Whether the program is partially or fully involved in software piracy and copying.
- Ergonomic and inclusivity issues, especially in user interface design.
- Meeting the needs of users.
- Relevance to the users' environment, computer configuration and quality assurance.
