Hey i was wondering what is chemical analysis? Is it something like gravametrical analysis?

In analytical chemistry you generally are given a substance and then you have to work out what's in the substance and how much. This incorporates spectroscopic techniques, gravimetric analysis, volumetric analysis, precipitation tests etc...
