in my profile i have 2007 as yr of finishing school

You can't change it. Its not very hard to live with.

They assume you use SAM once you've received your HSC marks.

sam only calculates your uai based on the scaling from '05. Don't worry about what it says, as long as you get the estimation - which is what you're after.
