I have friends who have scored 99 and 100 in individual subjects... but never more than once.

There's a girl I know in my course with a WAM of 94 point something. That's the highest I've heard so far.

my WAM is 77.225 methinks
just over a distinction average
though I expect that to fall dramatically at the end of this session =/

Average of marks in each course, and I would imagine the 6UOC courses would weigh more than the 3UOC courses.
Someone please confirm or correct :D

Yes.
WAM = { (course1 mark)*(course1 UOC) + (course2 mark)*(course2 UOC) + ... }/(total UOC)

Someone in Psyc1001 scored 104 last year.
The extra 4 is for participating optional experiments

Except with the difference that the extra 2 marks is inproportionate to the work required....

This is sort of relevant..

To get the University Medal you need to come FIRST in your year AND have a WAM of over 90. Only one person per course per year can win the University Medal. I found this out the other day. :)
