Think there's already a thread like this, but eh, I drive a 92 honda civic but I'll be selling it hopefully this week. I haven't made any mods but when I bought it it had exhaust, mag wheels, sound system, tacho and it was lowered. I want to get a corolla of similar age. Does anyone want my civic??!

If it's for free, I'll have it!! :p

I don't have my own car (can't afford it!) but I drive my family's Barina. It's a good car coz it's little and doesn't need much petrol. And as it is not technically my car there are no mods on it.

I drive a '04 Volkswagen Golf R32

Theres no mods because it's pretty kitted out as standard.

24-valve, 3.2 litre V6 pumping out 177kW of power and 320Nm of torque.
6-speed close ratio gearbox incorporating 4MOTION all-wheel-drive
Acceleration of the R32 is 100km/h in just 6.6 seconds
Rear roof spoiler and unique rear bumper with twin 3-inch chrome exhaust
18” x 7.5” OZ Racing alloy wheels and 225/40 ZR 18 high-performance tyres.
Leather upholstery including Konig heated front seats

stock standard VN commodore (well except for stereo etc).. dad gave it to me :p

i'm sorta on the lookout for a new car, but i'll probably look harder after HSC.. if the commodore was manual i'd probably keep it and mod it but auto gets boring..

sorry to say but wheels gave it a bad review for having a dud local suspension tune.

Also i heard it doesnt have any form of spare tyre? Not even a space saver :|

No, Mum and Dad have never bought me a car, and never will, they've always been ones who believe in, you only respect and deserve anything that you earn yourself, so no handouts at my folks house, and when board started to become more expensive than renting a place, I realised it was time to move out. One of the downfalls of earning money when board is based on a percentage of your income for the week.

I work and interchange between studying at uni full-time and part-time, and I bought the car myself out of my own money.

The suspension is crap as stock, but the dealership threw in a new set of springs and the like which improves the ride ten-fold. And although it lacks a spare tyre, it does come with tyre-fit repair set which still does the job just as fine.

I love my car, I just wanted something different to the myriad of wrx's, lancers, skylines and the like, and not draw attention to myself which the Golf achieves.

Wow you must earn some money for a uni student. What are you? A hitman?

AS for not drawing attention to yourself im not sure a golf r32 whould achieve that! :p

A BMW 325i may have been better.

lowring a car is stupid, you will have to drive so carefully over speed bumps and uneven roads.

Well it was lowered when I got it so I had no choice. It does lower the centre of gravity though, and it looks better :p the bumpy ride is a bit annoying though
