i've got this mobile fone no. starting with "0414...", so from this can someone tell me what provider is this mobile fone with? also is there a handy list somewhere, which can help me out?

it can be any with portable numbers you can change any number to and provider.

well,i heard from skool, that u can find out the provider of a mobile by knowing the first four digits....anyways, whats "0414" most likely to have as their provider?

but as the 2nd post says, u can switch providers and keep ur number

so do u know of a list where it shows what network each "prefix" is with (by default that is).

0402 - Optus
0403
0411
0412
0413
0421
0422

0404 - voda
0405
0414
0415

0438 - telstra

nfi about anyhting else

I had an 0415 which was voda, and an 0403 with virgin.
