keep what your good at!

Call or email the uni or some uni's you want to get into and find out if physics is a pre requisite or not, and also ask if you will be able to get away with doing a physics bridging course at the beginning of next year if you decide to drop physics. Approach your parents and talk to them as well as your careers advisor.

OR try really hard with physics, it has to be the decision for you to make as to how you think you'll get the best UAI.

Drop Physics I'd say, I mean in the long run, 1st in PE is much better than 2nd last in physics. See if you will improve in physics remarkably for the 1/2 yearlies, otherwise it would be best to drop it.
