Books do not count all that much

As long as you know all the concepts in a basic book that follows the syllabus, you'll be fine. Only after you feel like you need some harder Maths problems to stimulate yourself, then you should look towards harder reference books like COroneos and Fitzpatrick.

There's no point in having 10 books on Maths and ending up confusing yourself even more!!!

Our school gave us Cambridge 3U Year 11 and Year 12...

I'm very happy with both :D Although because we do topics out of order, we only used half of the Year 12 Cambridge.

I like Pender's style, and my Maths teacher knows him, so it was all good...

And have a few different ones for 4U... both Coroneos ones, Fitzpatrick, Patel (his textbook), Cambridge...

And both Excels - but I really, really don't like them for any thing other than their formulae parts right at the start :D Otherwise, they don't help at all... and he even puts in the Physics formulae that we're told we're not allowed to use... even though I have no idea what they are, they're confusing by just being there... tuts at Patel... even though his textbook is good

4u: Patel, Fitzpatrick.

Will be buying Cambridge, too.

My school has Coroneos' two books... which I think should actually be one book... but they are 20 years old. I'm too scared to use them.

why waste money for textbooks??
as if two books aren't enough... ;)
or is it three, patel, fitz and coroneos?
(I'll seriously be happy with one book)

EDIT I thought this was in ext2 forum.. but anyway... 1 3U book is still enough for me.

u get questions from past papers etc
especially for ext2 where its very readily available on the net LOL
theres this secret library of ext2 papers
run by a mysterious person...

for ext1, u probably dont need that many questions..
will u do all of them??

Methinks by the time you have time to do all those questions you would've failed your other 8? units.

More likely you'll never use most of them for anything other than space taking in your room.

You can't count, 10 - 4 = 6 units.

Then I shall withdraw that rebuke and hang my head in shame, for being so hasty in critisism (how do you spell this word?). I must remember to read the profiles next time.
