also if u wanna have some idea of what NESA intended for like the what's to be covered in a term of advanced maths look at the scopes and sequences as prescribed by them in their website right here, also if ur school is like lightning quick or smth u can gauge how much they'll cover in 1 term by involving the term 2 content as well ig. idrk use it as you will.

edit: On an additional note you can actually use this thing of viewing the NESA sample scopes and sequences for many other subjects like those in HSIE and sciences

If u wanna get ahead tho, do all the algebra techniques that should be at the start of the textbook

its pretty piss easy, so your first task should be alright unless ur at james ruse or something
Nah lowkey I reckon you should also learn basic derivatives and integrals before you start calculus at school (what I did)
It’ll help you I reckon cuz calculus is mad confusing when you first learn it

Yea agreed that's very helpful and also here's a playlist that I personally found to be good for gaining an intuition for derivatives and integrals and calculus in general so that when you gotta learn it in school it flows easier in the mind and may even make perfect sense. highly recommend.

particularly chapter 8 that's VRY good

tbh you dont learn to much new stuff in year 11 adv other then diff, you expand on trig a bit as well and even if you didn't do functions in year 10 its pretty self explanatory, logs can be hard as well if you did not do them in year 10. For ext you learn a bunch of new stuff though and being really good at trig, polys and starting perms and combs will help.
