whats the difference between conquering chemistry 1st,2nd,3rd,4th edition

and does the author write 2 different books for one edition

for example

3rd edition
1.prelim and another book for hsc course...

The higher the edition the newer it is, hence the better layout, updated information it has. And Conquering Chemistry has both Preliminary and HSC
