Classical?
That's not a decade. It was about a century actually.

I'm like Josie, it's so hard to pick a single decade...

I'd probably have to go the '70's.

60s/70s for sure. so many incredible bands and musicians! pink floyd, led zeppelin, the beatles (and their solo careers), herbie hancock's turn to jazz-funk fusion, black sabbath, deep purple, steely dan, lou reed, bob dylan, the rolling stones, jimi hendrix, tony williams, elvis costello, eric clapton, the who, the eagles, thin lizzy, the velvet underground.. that enough yet? :p

how the hell can the 80's be leadin the poll! come on that was the worst decade for music. wow the ppl who voted for 80's should bow their heads in shame. the 60-70's was the only good decades fo music. btw i voted for 70's cause of Zeppelin(obviously) and clapton's solo career. granted he was the best durin cream, yardbirds and blind faith, bluesbreaker days but i nothin goes past layla and other assorted love songs and slowhand.

yes im sure they were.. wat other decade could produce such fantastic music acts like bon jovi,
wham, phil collins, the police, cyndie lauper, and countless other one hit, more like miss, wonders. dont tell me the 80's were great when just about every top music critic will say they are the worst, and that the decade killed decent hard rock that most 70's bands worked hard to do, eg. zeppelin, deep purple, acdc, queen. it also destroyed heavy metal with its creation of hair metal and glam rock. the 80's rocked no no they did not rock.
