Hi, umm I would just like to enquire about majors/minors; When exactly can we choose the major/minor after being successfully enrolled in a bachelor degree, i.e. b of science?

Thanks in advance!

Generally after first year. You'll take a few electives and then in your second year you can decide which subject to follow a major stream in.

Whoa ok, so once we've enrolled into the bachelor (undergraduate course) we must complete the 1st year which contains compulsory electives, then we choose what majors/minors we want?

Weird, I thought majors/minors were to be chosen in the 1st semester as soon as we start our bachelor...

You should know the general path of what you want to do, e.g. a Biology major probably doesn't need ultra-hard Maths and Physics. Basically you start broadly then start narrowing down towards your major. You don't have to declare it officially until your final year.

Have a talk to student advisors and figure out what area you're likely to go in, and from there you can figure out what subjects you wanna do.

Ah ok XD thanks for the clarification! Well um, all I know for sure is that I'm heading into the bach-science, but after my research of that degree, all I could find were 2 lists of majors/minors and no mention of electives.

But yeah =p I'll probably ask more on the uni info day!
