Where's my clicking sound gone? (1 Viewer)

Usually IE makes a clicking sound whenever I click on a link or the back/refresh button. It's goooone right now. Where did it go? Itunes and sound card work fine. Thanks.

control panel -> sounds/audio devices -> sounds -> sound scheme -> windows default.

The music could be overiding the midi channel.
