I'm 17 early next year, am unemployed and will be so until post-HSC 2014. I don't receive pocket money. I'm looking for an account I can easily spend money I am given as gifts both online and in-store via EFTPOS. A keycard of sorts would be excellent.

Has anyone had any particularly positive or negative experiences with their bank?
Which bank and account type would you recommend based on the info above?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I've definitely been thinking about Commonwealth tbh. I just don't know whether a youthsaver account, without monthly fees and with good interest, or a smart access account, with a bunch of other stuff, would be better. Hm.
