hello :) I was just wondering whether anyone had an opinion on which coaching college I should go to? Im starting Year 11 next year so I think I'll go to one of them. Any opinions or advice welcome!

I was thinking out of talent 100, matrix or dux? or any others I havent heard of?
Thank you!

Going to tutoring colleges isnt the magic wand to success in studies. you still have to work hard. consider trying 1-to-1 tutoring as the tutors will be able to work with you to target your weaknesses in topics, and also prepare you specifically for up coming assessment tasks.

Different colleges have excellence in different areas. people have recommended harry's education centre for maths

What do you aim to get out of a coaching college? Don't just jump in and expect your results to soar.

I know that going to a coaching college wont just boost me without any of my own effort. So i do plan to try and put my effort in, but all I was wondering was which college would help me the most :)

What subjects do you need tutoring for?

Because sometimes coaching colleges... well, 1-on-1 may be better.

First of all, you have to keep up with the pace of colleges or they won't be effective for you. Some may be very fast so yeah expect lots of homework and studying. I'd say English is more preferable for 1:1 tutoring rather than college. Although I did both (tutor for essay writing and college for marking/resources).

Matrix Education for science or maths. I'm not too sure about english. But i can gurantee their science is one of the best. Especially Physics and Chem. They give you lots of work so you have to be prepared.

Try Discovery college (it is 1 floor under Matrix) for 2u 3u or 4u. They accelerate at a very fast pace and have brilliant teachers/tutors. I use to go here for about 1 year and I struggled with the pace because they went very quick.

Laplace Education for English Standard/ Esl or Advanced. Brilliant tutor/teacher and lots of useful resources.

They're all located in Strathfield btw. They're all a bit pricey also which is a downturn.

Thank you so much for all the responses! I was thinking of going for English and Maths (I'm doing Ext Eng and Adv Maths)
