Sup smarty peoples,

I'm actually probably wanting to transfer to a different university degree or uni from the one I am doing presently, although this is just to play around with admissions to other courses..so yeah.

I applied through NSW UAC again like I did before, but now I am confused about which cut-off's do I use as a guide for mid-year admissions to actually see how competitive several courses would be..I know the mid-year cut-off's aren't published through UAC..but obviously as a rough guide, we do still have to see the UAI's to show ourselves if we're likely to recieve an offer to a course in the mid years throughout the years..know what I mean?

So which do I use to get a more accurate prediction to have a likelihood of recieving an offer this mid year for 2009?

a) 2008 Main round (WHICH is shown in the course search in the UAC web)

or

b) 2009 Main round cut off's

or could it possibly be the:

c) 09 late round cut offs

cheers:shoot:

I think the main round 09 cut-off's should be mainly used..but also use a lil bit of the 08 just in case or some crap..lol

late rounds just too high for the uai's..

But..still, hmmm

What? You cant change them until January next year..thats if you mean he is going to re-apply again for 2010 admissions, but uac.aplcnt was only talking about 2009 mid-year admissions if you read carefully..lol. He prolly actually got a little bit tricked by you then..oh wells, its over now.

I think you was pretty right though about submitting anything however, I mean its almost impossible to predict whether someone would receive a uni offer through mid-year by 'code breaking' the UAI's..but its worth a try if people want to go to the course they want to be in. Also, its simultanesly very hard to know which exact course to pick for peoples future..so thats a cool advice deceptionz:shoot:

I personally think though that people should've used the 2009 cut offs, this is for undergraduates only though..;)

Whether you're applying at the end of the year or for mid-year admissions, you should still rank your options according to how much you want to enter each course, not whether you think you'll get in.
