I'm currently stuck in choosing either Brokeback Mountain or Shawshank Redemption D:. Which text would be better to pick in terms of Belonging?

What might be good for us may not be for you, choose what you feel more comfortable with. Personally, I'd use Shawshank Redemption since it's a hit and it's not about homosexuality - I've got no problem with that, but a marker may. They don't want to read, "and then he held on to his luscious hips, and through this, belonging was portrayed." or something like that.

I recommend picking one quick, you are kind of behind (I know it sounds harsh but if you understand this you might be more motivated), most people have writen a blueprint and are memorising if not already memorised.
Shawshank redemption is overdone, it is a very popular film, but the positive is that you will find a lot of material online which may help you in writing your blueprint.
If you feel your running out of time do Shawshank, if you think your confident then do the other related text (i never heard of that one b4)
