will they ever count half of my 2 unit mark for my atar? (1 Viewer)

Hey guys
this might be confusing but basically I do 11 units for hsc including math adv (2u). I'm definitely not going to do well in the hsc, i've struggled a lot all year with math but since i'm doing way better in all my other subjects, and atar only counts the top 10 marks, will only half my math adv mark count towards my atar? I genuinely don't think I can even score above a 50% in the hsc for math.

ALSO cause apprently someone I know did 11 units and had both math adv units count towards their atar even though their 1 unit mark and average was much much better.

They take whatever scale better for you. Your friend probably has her 2u math counted because it gives her a better aggregate for her atar

They take your best performing so i guess yea??

i think they only use 50% of your lowest performing subject to calculate ur atar then use the 1 unit as the other 50% percent
