ummmm with XP i push and hold the power button down to shut the computer off...but it randomly turns itself on again some unspecified time later, what gives?

HAHHA! OOO THE GHOST! nah actually it's not really a ghost and it's not just an XP issue, it can be a million causes, it happened to me once in 2000, i finally figured it was caused by a device, some devices installed on your PC enable it to wake up your PC upon a specific action.
