hey i was just wondering if it's too late to withdraw from a unit. If i do it now will there be any problem, no cancelation fee or any crap like that?

PHIL 232 just seems pointless to me. i find that this, phil 242, and phil 131 (philosophy and morality?) all seem way to similar and im not learning many new things.

so can i get rid of it just fine? would it show up anywhere in my transcript that i got rid of a unit?

cuz if not, well cya phil.

its until the end of august i think

The HECS census date is 31st August for Second Half Year units. There are no academic or financial penalties if you withdraw prior or on the HECS Census Date.

If you know your theory, then advanced may turn out to be just as slow.

Well it was only first tute, but yeah we learnt the C major scale along all the strings. Which would have been great, except not to sound like a cocky bastard but i know the C major scale like the back of my hand. So i just sat there very bored.

Even though its an advanced course, i can just tell that theory wise its still gonna be very basic. IE: scales, modes, chords, harmony. Which is stuff i know. I'm hoping it becomes more technique based soon. Or atleast show us how to apply scales and stuff in different ways and approaches.

Ahh ok, well thats probably the weak point of my guitar, in that i never formally learnt scales, just played with and found out the ones that sounded good rofl.

Hmm, but yeah C major scale seems somewhat easy :| even i know a few scales rofl

haha...yea it was pretty mundane last week- im not really into the styles he's introducing us into though...its expanding our listening, not pushing our playing.

who are you anyways...I was one of the shy first years at the back who got in on a waiver form :)
