I couldn't find any threads on the Young Endeavour youth scheme so i thought i'd start one. If you don't know about the Young Endeavour it is a sailing ship that takes a crew of 24 young Australians on voyages of self discovery. The ship itself is a 44 metre steel hulled square rigged sail ship. If your application is succesful you along with the 23 other young Australians from all over Australia and around 10 Navy crew embark on a voyage you will never forget. I went on the Young Endeavour earlier this year on the first voyage of 2008, and sailed from Hobart to Sydney. Anyone who has been on the Young Endeavour should post some comments as well as anyone who wants to know more about it!!
