Although it lacks colour it has a nice font and it makes it look like even kids can read it.
It provides LOTS of examples and frequently employs the 'cover up then see the solution' method for excellent practice.
Also another thing to consider it isn't jam packed with an incredible amount of writing within a small space unlike many other mathematics textbooks out there and is presented in a clear fashion.
