My bf is at Bond doing commerce/law, we're doing the long distance r'ship thing.. I visit the Gold Coast quite a bit..

yeah my ex moved to qld to go to bond. they have a 3sem year but its a private uni. he's doing commerce law and it takes 3yrs + 1 sem :vcross: they barely get any hols.. over xmas they get 3wks- month... i like my 3 month summer break!!

jenni ur perfect for teaching then, go for it :D ppl dont realise how much of an impact some pe teachers have on students.. its the whole reason i chose to study at uni. i care about all aspects of my health and want to transfer it to kids so they grow up happy healthy and in control.

yeah so the primary school teachers dont have to do it, they get freaked out by the thought of teaching pe cause they don't cover it in their uni courses so thats where we come in, its great experience. we do it as an 'introduction' to teaching pe. soon we start pracs at secondary schools...

agreed lol i give up on trying to convince people that not all of us learning how to become a teacher are bludgers. teachers put a shitload of work into what they do. sure, learning how to play an instrument or paint a picture or whatever may seem bludgey, its the rewards at the end that...

some teaching courses require uai's of high 80s low 90s if my memory serves me correctly... but yeah, definitely arrogant bludgers in every course, that's their choice..

im currently in 2nd yr pdhpe teaching at sydney uni i think the 2005 uai was 80.5.. its an excellent course

it's pretty laid back.. ur tutor will allocate u a topic to present in a particular week with another person u just gotta work together to make a presentation for like 45min or somethin and teach ur seminar group the topic u've been given. you will be taught the topics in lectures before hand so...
