Would a double degree in Comm/InfoSys be worthwhile

In consideration of the fact that I can major in info sys within commerce - and maybe double major and major in something else. From experience or word of mouth does anyone have an opinion on whether I should do a double degree or just comm?

Can you do exchange if you are doing a double degree?

Is this logistically possible - considering differences between the degrees at potential partner uni's. Was thinking of doing a COM/INFOSYS double degree

What should I be doing during the holiday before starting HSC?

(for the term 3 holiday of year 11 - going in to year 12 next term) Atm pretty much just reading prescribed texts and making some basic notes on them & looking at syllabi for year 12. My main problem is that even when I have school, I really don't get enough work to study, so in the holidays I...

Should the 2 week holiday before term 4 (term 1 of year 12) be taken advantage of

Should I just rest, or should I try to get a head start and make notes on all syllabus dot points/look at past papers/ preemptively write generalised essays or creatives? Or should I do nothing except rest (and read the english texts, since I've already started). I've been doing a fair bit of...

Will my bad work ethic in year 11 affect my results in year 12?

Thanks for the advice all. I am going to do everything in my power to correct my habits. It just feels a little late and like I've stifled my potential but I guess we'll see and I guess I'll do a metric ton of stuff over the holidays.

Will my bad work ethic in year 11 affect my results in year 12?

How transferrable does the content actually happen to be? This is mainly pertaining to business, economics & SOR but idm I can see that it would be transferrable math but math isn't really a problem since it's general, so I do no work and top the course with 90+. I've been basically doing...

Does the university you go to matter?

More important is what the university offers. One benefit to UNSW is their flexibility in subject changes or double degrees, and their overseas exchange programs, if this doesn't appeal to you, by all means go to UoW.

How does one "study" for general maths

I had a tutor previously for yr 10 5.3 once I changed classes and had the inferior teacher but have since stopped receiving tutoring. I was considering HSC Hub for resources, that would only work in year 12(pretty sure they only have yr 12 stuff), however, I guess tutoring is a possibility, but...

How does one "study" for general maths

Because 2 unit is too hard. Well, at least 5.3 was when I had the worst teacher in the school, everyone failed. Tbh, I should have given it a shot since maths department don't allow him to do 2 unit teaching and it really did change my marks when they swapped me in to that class from other 5.3...

How does one "study" for general maths

Teacher said homework would be to finish off what is not already finished from the weekly timetable of work, can do all of that in 1/3 of the allocated time so, no homework.

What can I do to study - other copy out class work when I get home

Yeah I make sure it is really clear and concise, and background research I do a fair bit, especially for modern History and economics. Could try the questions though.

How does one "study" for general maths

At the start of every week we get given a timetable. I can generally do all the work on the timetable within 50 minutes at home and then well, as a result, have nothing to do 3 periods a week, or go ahead. Past papers are obviously an option, although there are very few for year 11 and even less...

What can I do to study - other copy out class work when I get home

What can I do to study other than copy out class work when I get home (I do these notes corresponding to the syllabus to filter out junk) Obviously I know about past papers but in year 11 these are very rare and hard to do for specific chapters within subjects or whatever.

    Modern History or Legal Studies

OK thanks everyone. I ended up doing modern and yes it does seem to be a lot of essays and work! I feel that I'd do better in legal and it'd work with my workload better but at least with modern the work is definitely somewhat interesting. :)
