ppl are saying doing economics with actuarial is the wisest option because finance is like the same thing as acst?

can u guys tell me what the best course to combine with is?

or is just single degree enough if i am interested in becoming an actuary who may work in the financial sector also if opportunities present themselves.

anyways, to ppl thinking of transferring into acst/comp.. remember to do comp125 instead of comp115.

Ok so i got an offer for actuarial/science. For first year, because its only actuarial, i just pay the Band2 MQ rate for a semester (which is $5 479) right?
Then when the other degree kicks in , fees are calculated according to what courses you do...so where can i find how much courses are etc. ?

Im thinking of trying to transfer to actuarial studies after this yr. im in my third yr in doing math&compsci and i was hoping to finish my math degree and be able to do the act degree in two years. i was hoping to get into maquarie. anyone know what kinda marks i would need to get? ive started doing stat subjects. should i do some econ subj too?
has anyone done this at maquarie (completing the degree in two years after completing another degree)?
