can anyone get bonus points for unsw and usyd if they get a b6 for the subject for the course?
i have heard yes u can someone said they got 5 extra points for getting band 6 maths advanced when applying for i think it was chemical engineering idk it was some engineering in unsw

yeh ik but is it the same for everyone since they went to a gateway school..
yes ik usyd and unsw both do idk if its for every single course but i think their websites do tell u

Yep so anyone can get bonus points for each uni. At UNSW it's through HSC plus (which is automatic when you apply to the uni) and you can see online which subjects are eligible for bonus points for a band 5/6 that are relevant to your degree. Just a note: if you apply for gateway and get a conditional offer your ATAR requirement must be achieved without bonus points. So for Chem eng gateway ATAR is 80 - I needed a raw ATAR of 80 to get in through gateway.
