Nightwish did an awesome cover of Phantom of The Opera. And Presidents of The United States of America did a pretty good cover of Video Killed the Radio Star

I also think the Editors' cover of Talking Head's - Road To Nowhere is particularly good.
Rogue Wave did a fantastic cover of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs' - Maps.

i havnt listened to many covers, but i reckon alien ant farm's smooth criminal was awesome.

it'd be nice to hear behemoth and nile play each others songs.
