K dudes what car should i get next? My peugeot 206 gti is getting boring and its a little too small and gay looking but i like its performance. Anything under $10k will do nicely and older than 1990. Decent performance and fuel consumption. Also wondering if its worth it to just sell the pug for like $10k and just buy a shit old el falcon or something for like $2k?

You realise decent performance and fuel consumption are mutually exclusive on 10K cars? Seriously, what do you want?
For 10K you could pick up some 90s jap import turbo that would be decently quick or an early 2000s Corolla or Civic that wont be as fast but will be reliable and cheap.
Of course there's also a 10K Falcodore

Get a riceburner like me... '96 ZR Celica (the same model goes from '94 to '99)

2.2L, is great on fuel (half a tank from Sydney to Wagga.. thats like a 5 hour drive) and goes pretty darn good too. Dual Airbags, cruise control, electric sunroof etc etc, and the seats are very comfortable with the side bolsters and stuff.

Of course being a Celica, there isnt much care for your back seat passengers. Not much headroom (particularly for tall people) and legroom can be a problem if the people in the front are selfish. Although the seats are nice :)

You could get a corolla, you could get an 80's model like an AE82 with the 4AGE in it for real cheap. Good fuel consumption and they are little rockets, especially in motorkhanas since they are FWD.
I'd look at getting a corolla instead of a falcon... jap crap is more reliable :D
Plus you wont have to worry about its looks cos ur coming from a peugeot :p hahaha

Cars are over-rated. Buy something small, cheap and reliable and spend the rest on some excellent planetary wanderings.
I was going to sell my landcruiser and buy a VS maloo a few years back. But then i had an epiphany and went to europe for half a year, and NZ and bali. Best call i ever made.

What's wrong with turbo jap imports?

90's Turbo MR2 imo.

1993 onwards versions do 0-100 in 5.6, 1.6 faster than the Renault 172. 28mph higher top speed.

fwd's for suckers.

Sell your house and buy an S2000.

edit: god the RTA are absurd cunts. Among other things like RX-8's, S2000, Non-turbo Porsche 964's are P's legal.
