I go to an average selective school (Caringbah High 46th in state last year) and am thinking of taking up Extension 2.

My marks go as this (for yearlies)

2unit - 77/84 (92%) and 30-40/140 rank.
3unit - 68% (forgot the mark) 30-40/110.

Throughout the year, I've been average 80+ in 2unit, and 68's my lowest mark in extension so far as I usually get 75+ in extension 1, my ranks are an estimation and by no means are concrete (don't have reports yet) and I'm basing them mainly on average and the results my friends told me.

Taking this into account, would I be able to cope with 4unit? As I've heard it is really time consuming and although the first topics are "do-able" it starts getting realy weird. The fact that some of my teachers can't do some of the questions isn't helping my decision :p

Throughuot the prelim year, I've been able to grasp concepts within the first 5-10 minutes of it being explained by the teacher, but that may be because my teacher is really good at the moment. Changing to 4unit also changes the teacher, and Im' worried about that.

Any advice/tips would be greatly appreciated! :)

Doing MX2 makes you love maths. You'll do better in Year 12.
